This products is actually under pressure and its prices are spiraling !
But when the crisis will pass, this appetite will dry up and prices will drop… with a high risk of users taking it off from their formulation. Hence, a huge decrease in the demand will be inevitable.
Sudden increase of prices, followed by fast decrease, weaken the industry and above all the farmers.
Together with the GEHEM (Madagascar Essential Oils Exporters Association) we are working to reach a fair price, as much for farmers as for consumers.
Our farmers cooperatives and our projects have a duty to be sustainable !
