Position based in Tamatave with frequent travel
Jacarandas is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager responsible for:
- Implementing Jacarandas’ Health and Safety policy;
- Managing HSE documentation;
- Ensuring the attainment of relevant HSE certifications;
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company’s HSE management system.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or equivalent
- A hands-on professional with a proactive approach, strict about following procedures and deadlines
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is a plus
- Independent, results-oriented, with leadership qualities
- Knowledge and proficiency in HSE standards, particularly ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001
- Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems
- Expertise in risk analysis techniques
- Analytical and synthesizing skills
- Able to manage stress and enjoy working in a team
- Rigorous and methodical
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Decisive and proactive
