In Madagascar, it has perfectly adapted to the humid regions of the northeast, particularly around Antalaha<\/strong> and the SAVA region<\/strong>, where it grows in agroforestry systems<\/strong> alongside vanilla and other essential oil crops.<\/p>\n The essential oil is obtained through gentle steam distillation of dried leaves<\/strong>. On average, 125 kilograms of leaves<\/strong> are required to produce one litre of essential oil.
